Musikgarten: Early Childhood Classes
For children ages 6 months-5 years old, these “mommy and me” style classes introduce students to musical concepts such as pitch, rhythm, solfege, and musical form through thoughtful use of songs and games.

Musikgarten: Music Makers at the Keyboard
A gentle, holistic beginning to piano lessons that builds on the foundation of the early childhood classes; students ages 6-9 continue their music studies by moving to the piano, learning to play the songs and patterns they’ve been singing. Students who complete this program will be able to read music, play and harmonize melodies by ear, and recognize pitch and rhythm patterns.

Private Piano Lessons
After completion of the Musikgarten program or by audition; students continue their music studies, working primarily within a classical framework but choosing much of their own repertoire as they develop proper technique, grow in musicality, and learn to improvise.
